Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Shares A Heartfelt Moment With A Pug & A Chicken

News

Bindi Irwin’s daughter, 8-month-old Grace Warrior, is already becoming a wildlife pro like her family. Grace bonded with Bindi’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Piggy right away. Since then, Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell have introduced her to a wide variety of animals, including a koala and a tortoise.

In a recent Instagram post, Bindi showed that her adorable daughter has made more animal friends. Grace had a heartwarming playdate with a chicken and the family’s Pug named Stella. The baby is so gentle and curious around the creatures, and she’ll likely be a great ‘Wildlife Warrior’ one day too.

“She’s got her pug and her chicken and life is good,” Bindi captioned the photo.

This isn’t the first time Grace has interacted with Stella. For National Pug Day, the Irwin family posted an adorable video of them baking a dog-friendly cake for Stella and Piggy. Grace seemed overjoyed to be a part of it. It’s clear that she’s already sharing a love for animals like the rest of the Irwins.

Grace Loves Animals!

Ever since Grace was born, Bindi made it clear that she wanted her daughter to grow up around animals. She hopes Grace will share the family’s devotion to saving animals just like her dad, Steve Irwin, did.

“Everything we do is to create positive change on the planet and protect as many beautiful animal species as we can,” Bindi said. “I’m so excited for our daughter to grow up learning about the importance of giving back and making a difference in the world for the future generations. My family started this work over 50 years ago and I have always been grateful that they included me and my brother every step of the way.”

Recently, Bindi revealed that the Australia Zoo had been struggling during COVID-19 after temporarily shutting down. Now that they’re up and running again, she’s hopeful for the future. Caring for animals in need is such an important part of the family’s life, and they want to keep making a difference as much as they can.
